Mamadou Sakho tweets his excitement ahead of Liverpool return

Liverpool will host Crystal Palace at Anfield in the Premier League tomorrow.

Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in his return to full fitness.

The 25-year-old centre-back had been sidelined for the past five weeks due to a hamstring injury, but he returned to training this week.

Sakho has been passed fit for Saturday’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace at Anfield, and he is looking forward to it.

Sakho has made 15 appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool this season, creating five chances in the process.

The France international has a pass accuracy of 90% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and he has won 36 headers, 13 dribbles and 19 tackles.

Liverpool are currently fifth in the Premier League table with 62 points from 36 matches, six points behind Manchester United, who are fourth in the standings at the moment.

Brendan Rodgers’s side have won two of their last seven Premier League games, scoring just seven goals in the process.
