Former Rangers striker Kane Hemmings will join Dundee in the summer transfer window, according to the Scottish Premiership club’s official website.
The 23-year-old has signed a pre-contract agreement with the Dees and will move to the club on a three-year contract in the summer.
“The striker is a player who the manager has admired for a long time and is pleased to have him agree to sign for the club ahead of the 2015/16 Premiership season,” reads a statement on Dundee’s official website.
The former Cowdenbeath striker has scored five goals for the English League One outfit this season and has 29 goals from his previous spells in Scotland.
The striker struggled during his time at Ibrox with injuries, but he did well during a two-month loan spell with Cowdenbeath.
Rangers are currently in the Scottish Championship and are aiming to return to the Premiership for the 2015-16 campaign via the playoffs.
Dundee are sixth in the Premiership table at the moment with 44 points from 36 matches.
