The Polish international, a former Real Madrid trainee, has had a great season.
At the end of March was reported by The Sun that Tottenham Hotspur were ready to snap up the Polish international centre-back Kamil Glik in a deal believed to be worth around £8 million. The Torino defender has impressed this season and Spurs need new centre back options after a difficult season at the back.
The likes of Younes Kaboul and Vlad Chiriches are expected to depart in the summer, while Jan Vertonghen's form has been patchy and Federico Fazio looks unsuited to Premier League football.
Kevin Wimmer of FC Koln looks all set to be joining the club and that will certainly be a boost, but another option would certainly be welcomed by Tottenham fans.
However, it now looks like they will have serious competition, from Manchester United.
A report from Tuttosport in Italy claims that United are also keen on the player, as they aim to bolster their defensive ranks this summer.
Glik has a contract at Torino until the summer of 2017, so he is certain to cost a fair amount.
He has previously intimated he will stay in Turin, but it remains to be seen whether any Manchester United interest could change his tune.
