Predicted QPR and Newcastle United line-ups

QPR Crest

Here are the potential teams for Queens Park Rangers against Newcastle United this weekend.

To be played on Saturday 16th May 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Loftus Road Stadium, London

Odds: QPR 36/17, Draw 13/5, Newcastle 7/5

Newcastle United will be looking to put their foot firmly on the gas this weekend when they take on QPR.

QPR have the home advantage but have already been relegated down into the Championship, which should give the Magpies an advantage as Chris Ramsey’s team have nothing to play for other than pride.

Ramsey won’t want his team to switch off because a good performance and three points will create a little bit of positive energy around the club and give the supporters something to shout about.

Newcastle haven’t won a game in their last nine matches though it is important they put an end to their losing streak last weekend, when they got a point in the game against West Brom.

The club hold the first place outside of the bottom three and will be looking to keep the pressure on the likes of Hull City and local rivals Sunderland ahead of the final game of the season.

Both managers are under pressure, but John Carver has a real point to prove with Newcastle considering recent performances the side have produced.
