Former Celtic captain Tom Boyd suggested there are two players who will be of interest to Ronny Deila.
Celtic’s first team boss Ronny Deila has had a very good first season at Parkhead, with any younger players at the club facing a real fight to force their way into the first team picture.
Henderson has been playing on loan with Norwegian side Rosenborg, while McGeouch opted to stay in Scotland playing for Hibernian.
“Liam Henderson and Dylan McGeouch I'd say certainly can have a future at the club. The rest I'm not too sure about,” said Boyd.
“Certainly Liam is one who has improved well [at Rosenborg] and Dylan is a key part of Hibs' team just now that are pushing for promotion.”
“I'd say those two will still be interesting the manager. They would be high on the list of those looking to be retained.”
Deila will be reluctant to make many changes to the look of his team moving forward next year, because not too much has gone wrong in the last ten months.
He has a successful side, which secured the double and nearly snapped up the treble so the Norwegian must be doing something right.
It’s a waiting game for the likes of Henderson, McGeouch and any other younger players at the club.
They have to be patient and work hard with any opportunity they are given at any level before returning to the club, as they look to compete for attention in pre-season ahead of the next campaign.
