Aston Villa reportedly have their eyes on two goalkeepers.

According to the Daily Mail, Aston Villa have recently been scouting Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn ahead of the summer transfer window.

Villa's 1-0 win over West Ham United last weekend has taken them to the cusp of Premier League survival, with manager Tim Sherwood now planning for next season.

After a superb three months in charge so far, Sherwood will be expected to keep Villa away from the relegation zone next season, but will need some new signings in order to do that.

The Daily Mail report that Sherwood is now looking to improve his goalkeeping options, and whilst Brentford's ex-Tottenham stopper David Button is an alleged target, it seems Villa are looking slightly further afield too.

Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn, 22, has been an ever-present this season, playing all 32 of Koln's Bundesliga games as he establishes himself as one of the up-and-coming goalkeepers in the Bundesliga.

The report states that Villa have been scouting Horn recently, and have also been in Norway tonight to monitor Molde stopper Orjan Nyland tonight as he took on Lillestrom in a 2-1 defeat.

The 24-year-old has 11 caps for Norway, and is another goalkeeper who could in demand this summer, including from Villa - which will raise questions about the future of Brad Guzan and Shay Given.

Guzan has recently been dropped from the starting line-up in favour of Given, but being linked with so many goalkeepers will suggest that one of them is on their way out of the club this summer.
