Another incredible statistic proves just how talented Alex Pritchard is

The Tottenham Hotspur youngster has achieved a remarkable feat while on loan at Brentford.

Alex Pritchard's talent is not in doubt. What he has achieved at Championship level has been nothing short of superb.

Two things, however, might be: whether Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino feels he's ready for the north London side's first team next season - and whether he can produce the same level of quality in the Premier League.

As if any more proof of the 22-year-old's ability was needed, however, another incredible statistic demonstrates just how well he has done this past season while out on loan at Brentford.

How far the Tottenham youngster is above the competition in the second tier suggests he may well be able to produce at a higher level...

  TeamFinal-Third PassesChances CreatedAppearancesMinutes Played
Alex Pritchard Brentford 800 114 46 3,778
Harry Arter Bournemouth 693 47 43 3,727
Alan Judge Brentford 657 85 38 3,054
Kevin McDonald Wolves 640 71 46 4,068
Jacob Butterfield Huddersfield 600 120 45 3,995
Nathan Redmond Norwich 530 112 44 3,067
David Cotterill Birmingham 382 116 42 3,599

Indeed, as Opta stats show, Pritchard has completed 800 final-third passes in the Championship this season - with no other player having even reached the 700 mark.

His closest rival, Harry Arter, has played just 51 minutes less in total this season, making a full 107 less.

In terms of chances created, meanwhile, the Spurs loanee has the third-highest total in the division.

The remarkable figures, then, seem to show a superiority above all his peers from Pritchard. From Brentford to Tottenham, though, how will the exciting prospect respond in the top flight if given the chance?
