Reported Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Virgil van Dijk has been quoted by the Daily Mail voicing his frustrations in relation to the competition in Scottish football.
The big Celtic centre back has been linked with Spurs by the paper and he’s revealed that the competition in Scottish football isn’t great.
It remains to be seen as to whether Spurs are going to make a move for him in the summer transfer window.
“Celtic are a great club with a fantastic stadium and the fans are great, but the competition is not too good,” he said.
Harry Kane has been named on the shortlist for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Season award as confirmed by the Daily Mail.

Guingamp’s president has been quoted by the Metro revealing that Tottenham have already made an enquiry over Claudio Beauvue.
The 27-year-old striker has scored 21 goals for the mid-table French club this season, as Spurs look at ways to bolster their attack.
The paper states that he would be available for a fee in the region of the £6 million mark.
“Hull and Tottenham have already expressed interest. It seems it is the will of Claudio to go to England,” the president said.
