A player linked with a move to Manchester United is reportedly closing in on a big-money switch to the Serie A giants.

According to a report from Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, alleged Manchester United target Paulo Dybala is set to complete a €32million move from Palermo to Juventus.

The Mirror were among those to link the talented Argentine with a move to Old Trafford earlier this season, and given the way the likes of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao have struggle for fitness and goals the rumours were no surprise.

After all, Dybala has scored 13 goals and set up an additional 10 already this season and at just 21 the sky is the limit for the centre forward.

However, if the latest report is true, it appears United and any other potential suitors have missed out with Juventus said to be closing in on a deal.

It would still be no surprise if United moved for another new striker this summer, especially when you consider how ineffective Falcao has been since his loan move from AS Monaco.

But then again, with free-scoring winger Memphis Depay arriving in due course, perhaps manager Louis van Gaal would then feel he has enough attacking options and will instead focus on strengthening his midfield and defence.
