Report: Tottenham place seven players up for sale, including Emmanuel Adebayor, Paulinho, Aaron Lennon and Roberto Soldado

Tottenham Hotspur have a hugely important transfer window coming up.

The Daily Mail claims that Daniel Levy is set to relent in his pursuit of securing value for money deals for Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Levy is known as one of the toughest negotiators in the Premier League, but he will reportedly adopt a different approach in the upcoming transfer window.

Levy is said to be keen to offload a number of Spurs players and he realises that he may have to take the financial hit to get them off their books.

The report states that the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Paulinho, Roberto Soldado, Moussa Dembele, Etienne Capoue, Vlad Chiriches and Aaron Lennon have all been put up for sale by Spurs and Levy is intending to sell them in the early part of the transfer window.

The Lilywhites want to raise funds for their own planned incoming buys and it is thought that all seven of the players could be available on cut price deals.

Spurs are desperate to inject some quality into their squad, while also reducing their squad size to enable a clear route for the youthprospects to make it into their first-team.

It means that this summer is set to shape the future of Tottenham, with Levy and Pochettino both hoping that their planned business has the desired impact, and helps the team claim a top-four spot next season.
