QPR fans react on Twitter to relegation from Premier League

Queens Park Rangers have been relegated from the Premier League and will play in the Championship next season.

Queens Park Rangers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the team’s relegation from the Premier League.

Rangers needed to pick up all three points from their league game against Manchester City away from home on Sunday afternoon to maintain any chance of remaining in the English top flight for the 2015-16 campaign.

However, the London outfit were hammered 6-0 by City at the Etihad Stadium, with Argentina international striker Sergio Aguero scoring a hat-trick.

QPR gained promotion to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs at the end of last season, and they will now return to the second tier of English football.

The R’s have managed to pick up just 27 points from 36 matches this campaign and currently find themselves at the foot of the league table.

Rangers have won just seven matches and have scored just 39 goals, while losing 23 games and conceding 67 goals.

Following the confirmation of their relegation on Sunday, QPR fans took to Twitter to have their say.

Below are the best reactions.
