Queens Park Rangers went down 6-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Queens Park Rangers became the second Premier League club after Burnley to have their relegation confirmed this weekend.

A 6-0 defeat to Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday consigned QPR to Championship football for the 2015-16 campaign.

Rangers got promoted to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs at the end of last season and were one of the top candidates to go back down.

Chris Ramsey’s side needed to win against last season’s English champions City on Sunday to have any chance of staving off relegation, but they failed to pick up the three points.

City were always in control of the game from start to finish and scored no fewer than six goals over the course of the 90 minutes, three of which were from Argentina international striker Sergio Aguero.

It was a frustrating afternoon for the QPR players, and the photos below from the match sum up their entire season.
