Former Crystal Palace and Leeds United boss says the final Premier League relegation spot is between two clubs.
Former Crystal Palace and Leeds United manager Neil Warnock told talkSPORT he feels there are only two teams now in the battle to avoid relegation.
Warnock was quizzed over who he thought would go down along with Burnley and QPR and he suggested that Hull City and Newcastle United are the two sides under pressure.
“I think it’s between Hull and Newcastle, I can’t really see anything else,” he said.
Hull have given themselves a fighting chance, but came unstuck against Burnley over the weekend, while Newcastle ended their losing run with a point against West Brom.
Newcastle are currently the side safe in terms of the table and the current positions of the two clubs, with games against QPR and West Ham left to play.
The match against QPR is one that the club really needs to focus on winning before a final game at home against old manager Sam Allardyce.
Hull currently hold the final relegation place, which would take them down to the Championship with matches against Tottenham and Manchester United left to play.
On paper, fans are going to be backing Newcastle but with Tottenham’s form very inconsistent and United having effectively wrapped up a top four place, the Tigers will definitely be looking to take advantage.
Hopefully both teams can go six points from six and place the pressure onto other teams.
