Details emerge about the existence of a cinematic Fallout 4 trailer.
A 3D artist working for Mirada Studios, owned by director Guillermo del Toro, claimed that he worked on a cinematic trailer for Bethesda on his LinkedIn profile. The artist who had previously worked on trailer for Far Cry 4, Forza Motor Sports and another Bethesda release, Elder Scrolls Online, listed that he had worked on a cinematic trailer for Mirada Studios. The project was entitled Fallout 4 cinematic and is claimed to have been worked on between December 2014 and March 2015 in Greater Los Angeles.
Now obviously you can't believe everything you read on LinkedIn but that's not to say there isn't any truth in it. Whilst Bethesda is yet to formally announce Fallout 4 it is believed that the company will announce the game at this years E3, where they are hosting their own conference on the 14th June. There have also been strong rumours that a 20 to 30 minute gameplay video is currently in production to highlight the game at E3.
Bethesda's announcement that they would host their own E3 press conference must mean that they have something very big to announce, which points squarely at a follow up to Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, especially as Elder Scrolls Online has already been released, the company's other big franchise.
Many rumours have been milling around for quite some time regarding Fallout 4 and it's potential elements, most common are rumours of it's location which is said to Boston. This location would point toward a plotline surrounding The Institute, origin of The Replicated Man in Fallout 3.
Whatever happens we are as excited as you about the press conference and the potential for this game is immense.
We will of course keep you updated with any further news as it surfaces.
