Confirmed: Arsenal under-21 line-up including Krystian Bielik and Serge Gnabry

Emirates Inside

Here is how Arsenal's young side will line up against Bolton Wanderers today:

Arsenal under-21 starting XI: Iliev, Smith, O’Connor, Pleguezuelo, Ormonde-Ottewill, Bielik, Maitland-Niles, Gnabry, Crowley, Zelalem, Iwobi

Arsenal under-21 subs: Macey, Robinson, Eyoma, Kamara, Lipman

Arsenal’s under-21 side take on their Bolton Wanderers counterparts this afternoon with some interesting names on display.

Serge Gnabry, Dan Crowley and January signing Krystian Bielik are all included in the starting line-up as they look to impress enough to get into (or back into) the first-team set-up.

Gnabry has not featured for Arsenal’s senior side all season due to a serious injury, but he is now fully recovered and today will see him make his seventh appearance for the Gunners’ under-21s since his return.

As for Bielik, the £2million January singing from Legia Warsaw is making his sixth appearance for the North London club at this level, having rotated between central defence and central midfield thus far.

The 17-year-old’s versatility is such that he should have a very bright future at the Emirates Stadium, and despite his age he may yet find first-team chances come his way as early as next season if he continues to impress.
