Trevor Sinclair has message for QPR ahead of vital clash with Manchester City

Queens Park Rangers have a huge game this weekend.

Former Queens Park Rangers player Trevor Sinclair has taken to Twitter to send a message to Chris Ramsey’s side ahead of their vital Premier League clash with Manchester City.

QPR are currently bottom of the table and they must win this afternoon to maintain any hope of top flight survival.

After seeing Burnley relegated on Saturday, the stark reality of spending the majority of the season near the bottom of the table could hit home, but Sinclair has sent a defiant message to his old club.

“Last chance for QPR today,” he wrote. “Big ask but not impossible? Hope the lads have a right go like in 2012.”

Back then QPR almost caused an almighty shock by taking points off City and handing the Premier League title to Manchester United as a result.

We all know what happened next, with Sergio Aguero proving to be the last-gasp hero for the Blues, but QPR can take hope from the memory of that performance and keep fighting until the final whistle.

City will want to keep on track for a second-place finish, but could Ramsey inspire an unlikely but memorable afternoon?
