Confirmed: Chelsea and Liverpool line-ups

Here is how Chelsea and Liverpool will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Chelsea welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge this afternoon with Brendan Rodgers’ side knowing they must win to keep their hopes of a top-four finish alive.

Seven points currently separate Liverpool in fifth place and United in fourth, and with just three matches remaining for the Reds a win is a must or they will be without Champions League football next season.

As for Chelsea, they will be able to celebrate having secured the Premier League title last weekend, but they will not want to give Liverpool the edge given their past encounters.

Chelsea have not lost any of their last seven matches against Liverpool in all competitions and manager Jose Mourinho will want that to continue.

Liverpool may have stopped their poor recent form by defeating Queens Park Rangers recently, but they are still not at their best so what better time to turn on the style than against the newly-crowned champions in their own backyard?
