Preston North End moved into the League One play-off final with a 3-0 win over Chesterfield today, but forward Callum Robinson seemingly won't be playing a part.
Already 1-0 up from the first leg, Preston romped into the final after two goals from Jermaine Beckford and a Joe Garner penalty at Deepdale.
Manager Simon Grayson will now be hoping to beat either Sheffield United or Swindon Town in the final, and return to the Championship for the first time since Preston's relegation in 2011.
Amongst the unused substitutes today was Aston Villa loanee Robinson, who has enjoyed a productive loan spell with the Lilywhites this season, scoring seven goals in 28 games.
However, the 20-year-old is now set to return to Preston, with Villa boss Tim Sherwood telling the Daily Mail last week that Robinson would not be allowed to feature in the play-off final - as he wants to give him some playing time in the Premier League.
Now set to return to Villa as Preston gear up for the final, Robinson has taken to Twitter to thank Preston for an 'unbelievable day' at Deepdale against Chesterfield, whilst also admitting that he has loved every minute with the club.
With Sherwood giving a chance to Jack Grealish right now, Robinson could make an impact at Villa before the end of the season - but will no doubt be gutted to be missing the final at Wembley for Preston.
