West Ham fans react on Twitter to Kevin Nolan's performance against Aston Villa

West Ham fans were fuming with Kevin Nolan's performance against Aston Villa.

West Ham United slumped to another defeat, with Aston Villa defeating them 1-0 in the Premier League this afternoon.

Sam Allardyce's men have won just three Premier League games in 2015, and their torrid form continued with a dour display at Villa Park.

Tom Cleverley's first half goal came after great work down the left from Jack Grealish, and that strike proved to be the winner.

Villa moved themselves further clear of the relegation zone with the win, but for West Ham it was another disappointing afternoon - and fans were furious with one player in particular.

Midfielder Kevin Nolan started the game despite an awful season so far, which has seen him score just once in all competitions.

Almost 33 now, Nolan is slowing down, and fans are growing impatient with manager Allardyce as he continues to stick by a player who he managed at Bolton Wanderers.

Nolan only lasted until half time against Villa, but that didn't stop fans from berating the Liverpudlian, saying that Brazilian playmaker Nene is a far better player, with some even pleading with co-chairman David Gold to finally end Nolan's stay in the first team.
