Tottenham Hotspur-owned Alex Pritchard was in action for Brentford against Middlesbrough in the Championship playoffs on Friday.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Alex Pritchard for Brentford against Middlesbrough on Friday evening.

Attacking midfielder Pritchard has been one of the best players in the Championship this season and was included in Brentford’s starting line-up for the first leg of the semi-final playoff at Griffin Park.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Bees on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Tottenham in the summer of 2014, played for the entire 90 minutes.

The Englishman took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 86%, created one chance, put in eight crosses, attempted two dribbles and made four blocks.

It was not one of the best performances from Pritchard, as Brentford suffered a 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough and now face an uphill task in the second leg of the semi-final playoff tie.

Following Brentford’s defeat, Tottenham fans took to Twitter to have their say on the performance of Pritchard against Middlesbrough.
