The Stoke City midfielder has been linked with a move to Leeds in recent days.
Charlie Adam's performance was of interest to Leeds United fans on Saturday afternoon.
The Stoke City midfielder has recently been linked by the Yorkshire Evening Post - and several other media outlets - to Leeds as a summer target for boss Neil Redfearn.
Adam has worked with Redfearn's suspended assistant manager, Steve Thompson, before at Blackpool and has all the experience a Championship side with the ultimate aim of promotion could ever want.
It is another matter whether Stoke would want to sell him, however, and whether the 29-year-old himself would want to leave the Britannia Stadium.
Judging by his display against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend, he won't be going anywhere - or his price-tag may have inflated if he does. Indeed, Adam was superb against Spurs, often pulling the strings for Stoke and scoring the Potters' opener - with a header of all things.
The midfielder, too, was involved in the build-up to the second and was one of many standout performers as Stoke ran riot against Mauricio Pochettino's men.
Some Leeds fans were watching closely and passed comment on the 29-year-old's performance on Twitter. Views varied from jokes that he was playing to impress the Leeds scouts - and suggestions that United have very little chance of tempting Adam away from the Premier League...
