The Dutch-Moroccan is being chased by clubs across the continent.
A report in Morocco today has suggested that West Ham are being linked with a talented attacking midfielder currently plying his trade in Italy.
The player in question is Ismail H'Maidat. Almarssad Pro, one of Morocco's leading press sources for football news, is reporting that the Brescia midfielder has interest from West Ham - along with the likes of Benfica, Lazio, Fiorentina and Sampdoria.
The Dutch-Moroccan is just 19-years-old but has already played for eight clubs in his career. He started out at FC Twente before spells at Turnhout, Westerlo, Genk, Leuven and Anderlecht. In the 2013-14 season he was at Crystal Palace - so he has previous in London.
Undoubtedly a talented player, his history is hardly indicative of a settled personality and it looks like he is on the move again this summer.
West Ham are always on the look out for top young talent and H'Maidat, who was linked with Fulham in January and was on trial with Arsenal back in 2012, certainly looks to fit that bill.
Whether West Ham get him or not remains to be seen but if they do, they will do well to get him to stick around for more than a year.
