As many as ten players could be on their way to Portugal this season.
It was recently announced that Chelsea had agreed a partnership with Royal Mouscron-Peruwelz to see plenty of players going back and forth between the two.
It is of course a similar situation to what they have going on with Vitesse Arnhem, where several players will be and have gone on loan to in the past.
Yesterday however it was reported that Chelsea will be agreeing another similar deal, to see Chelsea players heading out on loan to get regular first-team football.
The report claims that the likes of Mario Pasalic, Gael Kakuta, Matej Delac, John Swift, Lewis Baker, Nathaniel Chalobah, Josh McEachran, Wallace and Bertrand Traore head to the Primeira Liga. Ulises Davila, who has been on loan at the club since January, is set to remain.
It would be an interesting move for the club. Vitoria, who are managed by former Leeds and Sheffield United midfielder Bruno Ribeiro, are not yet assured of top-flight football next season.
They are currently just three points off the relegation mark and Chelsea will not be wanting to send their young players to a team playing second tier Portuguese football.
So hold fire on this for the time being.
