Report: Liverpool close to Danny Ings deal and willing to listen to offers for Borini, Lambert and Balotelli

It looks like being all-change for Liverpool's front-line next season.

According to a report from the Telegraph, Liverpool will sign striker Danny Ings this summer barring what they call any last-minute hitches.

The Burnley forward has scored nine Premier League goals this season and with his contract coming to an end this summer, there are likely to be plenty of clubs keen on his signature.

At just 22, and with an eye for goal, Ings would be a wonderful addition to many top-flight sides, and the latest report suggests it is Liverpool who will get their man.

Daniel Sturridge’s injury has left Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers without a prolific front-man this season, with Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini all falling short in that area.

As a result, a new striker is surely a priority summer signing and, on a free, moving for Ings is a no-brainer.

The Telegraph claims with Ings likely to arrive, and Divock Origi’s loan spell at Lille coming to an end, Liverpool would be willing to listen to offers for all their senior strikers barring Sturridge.

It appears this summer could be one of considerable change among the Liverpool playing staff; only time will tell if it is change for the better.
