Former Tottenham Hotspur prospect John Bostock has been singing the praises of Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Benik Afobe on social networking site Twitter.
Afobe was in superb form this season and was one of the breakout stars of the 2014-15 campaign in England.
The 22-year-old scored 32 goals this season in all competitions - 19 during a loan spell with Milton Keynes Dons and 13 for Wolves after joining the Championship outfit from Premier League giants Arsenal on a permanent contract in the January transfer window.
The England Under-21 international has proven his quality, and former Spurs youngster Bostock, who is currently playing for Belgian club Oud-Heverlee Leuven, has been impressed with the ex-Arsenal striker.
Afobe’s stunning performance this season will lead many Arsenal fans to wonder if the Gunners were wrong to let go of him in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old faced competition for places in the Gunners’ first team, and loan spells in previous season did not go exactly well.
Perhaps Afobe needed to leave the Emirates Stadium in order to regain his form and find his feet.
