Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has taken to social networking service Instagram to send Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge a get-well-soon message.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has told BBC Sport that he expects the 25-year-old to return to training in September.
Drogba, who played with Sturridge when the latter was at Chelsea, hopes to see the former Manchester City striker back in action and scoring goals soon.
The Englishman scored 10 goals and created 30 chances in 14 league appearances for the Merseyside outfit in the 2012-13 campaign.
Last season Sturridge scored 21 goals and created 29 chances in 29 Premier League matches, while having a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 49%.
The Liverpool star has managed to feature in only 14 league matches this campaign, scoring four goals and creating 11 chances in the process.
