To be played on Saturday 9th May 2015 at 12:45. Venue: Goodison Park, Liverpool
Odds: Everton 5/6, Draw 11/4, Sunderland 17/4
Everton face a difficult match this weekend against Sunderland, with the Black Cats travelling to Goodison Park looking to improve their position near the bottom of the table.
Everton will be looking to react heading into the game after they were beaten by Aston Villa 3-2 last weekend.
It was a disappointing result for the Toffees because there was evidence they were starting to build some momentum heading towards the end of the season.
A win for the Toffees should be enough to put the club just inside the top half of the table if other results go their way, with Stoke three points ahead but with a worse goal difference.
Sunderland simply have to win because they are under real pressure and just inside the bottom three by a point.
Three points will move the team onto 36 points and should be enough to lift them out of the relegation places, putting the pressure onto one of their rivals.
They head into the game after a 2-1 win against Southampton, which will give them the confidence and belief that they can register another victory.
