QPR midfielder Fer, who is an international teammate of Depay, has now taken to Twitter to wish the 21-year-old the best of luck at Old Trafford.

AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman has also congratulated his compatriot Depay on his move to United.

Depay has been in superb form this season and has been one of the best young players in entire Europe.

In 28 Eredivisie appearances for PSV, the 21-year-old has scored 21 goals and created 56 chances, while having a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 46%. Depay has won eight headers, 77 dribbles and 20 tackles.
