Celtic manager Ronny Deila has picked his side’s performances against Inter Milan and Rangers are the two best displays of the season.
Deila was responding to a Celtic fan’s question during a ‘Question & Answer’ session on social networking site Twitter on Wednesday.
Celtic v Inter Milan
Celtic took on Italian giants Inter Milan in the round of 32 of the Europa League in February.
The first leg of the tie was played at Celtic Park on February 19, and it proved to be a hugely entertaining match.
Xherdan Shaqiri put Inter in the lead after just four minutes, and Rodrigo Palacio doubled the visiting team’s advantage in the 13th minute.
Celtic equalised through Stuart Armstrong’s finish and Hugo Campagnaro's own goal, but Palacio put the Nerazzurri 3-2 ahead on the strike of half time.
However, Manchester City-owned striker John Guidetti scored a stunning goal in injury time to make it 3-3.
Celtic v Rangers
Celtic faced Rangers in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow on February 1.
In the first match between the sides since April 2012, Leigh Griffiths nodded the Scottish Premiership champions in front on 10 minutes, and Kris Commons added the second with a brilliant strike from 20 yards just past the half-hour mark.
