Newcastle United’s Jonas Gutierrez has message for fans on Twitter

Newcastle United will take on West Bromwich Albion at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday.

Newcastle United defender Jonas Gutierrez has taken to social networking site Twitter to issue a rallying cry ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash against West Bromwich Albion at St. James’ Park.

The Magpies have lost their last eight Premier League matches and find themselves just two points above the relegation zone at the moment.

John Carver’s side are currently 15th in the Premier League table with 35 points from as many matches, two points ahead of 18th-placed Sunderland, who have a game in hand.

The situation at Newcastle is dire, with fans frustrated with the team’s poor performances and results.

There have been threats of boycott, but Newcastle defender Gutierrez wants everyone to pull together under these tough circumstances.

Gutierrez is a popular figure among the Newcastle fans, and perhaps his call will see them return to St. James’ Park for Saturday’s match against West Brom.

The players need the support now, or else things could get worse. No Newcastle fan will want to see the club get relegated to the Championship, after all.
