The Portuguese winger is currently out on loan at Sporting Lisbon.
Manchester United winger Nani has certainly been in good form since getting a loan move to his boyhood club Sporting Lisbon in the summer. The Portuguese international struggled for form in his last two seasons at Old Trafford and Louis van Gaal was happy to send him on his way to Portugal as a sweetener for Marcos Rojo.
Now the season is coming to an end in Portugal and Nani's future is a hot topic for Sporting fans.
So will he stay or will he go?
He has been talking to Portuguese site O Jogo about his future admitting he does not know where he will play next season:
“The fans asked me to stay, but we all know it’s hard, because I have a contract with Manchester United and my ambitions are different this time.
“I am very happy to have spent a year at Sporting. It was a great time, helping Sporting where I could and finish in the top three. The rest we’ll see."
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has worked wonders with some of the previous outcasts at Old Trafford. Marouane Fellaini and Ashley Young have come on leaps and bounds since the Dutchman took over at the club.
With that in mind he might just fancy giving the Portuguese winger another chance at the club.
Nani has a deal at Old Trafford until 2018, so would not come cheap for any potential suitor. His future is certainly one area that will have to be addressed by the club in the summer.
