Liverpool goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at signing a new contract with the club.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper joined the Reds in July 2014 after leaving Tottenham Hotspur's Academy.
Vigouroux, who has yet to make his first-team debut for Liverpool, had a trial spell at the Academy during the 2013-14 season and played for the U21 side in the defeat to Fulham away from home.
It seems that the Liverpool bosses have been impressed with the youngster's performances this season and have tied him down to a new contract.
Earlier today, Vigouroux posted the following message on Twitter, announcing that he has signed a new two-year deal.
Very happy to have signed a new 2 year deal here..! #LFC— Lawrence Vigouroux (@LawrenceV93) May 6, 2015
Vigouroux, who is currently part of Liverpool’s Under-21 team, grew up supporting London club Chelsea as a kid, which he himself revealed in ‘Question & Answer’ session with Liverpool’s official website last month.
The youngster’s ultimate dream in football is to represent Chile at the World Cup.
