Tim Sherwood has made an impressive start as Aston Villa manager.
Sherwood requires his Aston Villa squad to train as they play, with the manager taking a demanding approach.
His methods have delivered immediate rewards, improving the club's results, and Westwood is clearly enjoying his time working under the former Tottenham Hotspur boss.
He said: "The spirits are high in the camp. We are performing well and we're going into each game knowing we're in with a chance of winning.
"The work here at Bodymoor is enjoyable - high intensity and very sharp - and we're getting the results on a match day. Confidence is high. That comes with winning games."
The hard work that Villa have put in on the training ground has certainly paid dividends, as they are now one of the most in-form teams in the Premier League.
Villa have won six of the 12 games overseen by Sherwood and are finding goalscoring much easier under his stewardship – an area they struggled in for some time under Paul Lambert.
However, now is not the time for Villa to take the foot off the gas as they still have work to do if they are to preserve their top-flight status.
The Claret and Blues are currently only two points clear of the drop zone and must ensure that they maintain their current standards in the weeks ahead.
Sherwood's men still need to win another two games in order to feel completely safe and have a chance to take a big step towards hitting that target this weekend when they take on West Ham United.
