Tottenham Hotspur players past and present took to the golf course earlier this week.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has posted a picture on his official Instagram account, revealing that he took part in a round of golf with his former teammate Gylfi Sigurdsson earlier this week.
The two men will know each other well from their days together at White Hart Lane, and it appears they remain close friends despite Sigurdsson’s subsequent move to Swansea City.
The Iceland international has enjoyed a fine season since his summer return to the Liberty Stadium, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists to date.
In contrast Kane has enjoyed a spectacular campaign at Tottenham, scoring 30 goals in 48 matches and counting.
Sigurdsson played 83 times for Spurs, but he rarely showed what he is capable of and left with just 13 goals and nine assists.
There are some Tottenham fans who feel he was sold too soon and still had plenty to offer Mauricio Pochettino’s side. But it looks like the only chance those supporters will have to see Kane and Sigurdsson together is on the golf course…until Spurs and Swansea clash once more, of course.
