Hull City went down 3-1 to Arsenal at the KC Stadium in the Premier League on Monday.
Visiting Arsenal were in control of the game from start to finish, opening the scoring through Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez in the 28th minute.
Wales international midfielder Aaron Ramsey doubled the Gunners’ advantage in the 33rd minute, and Sanchez scored his second goal of the evening on the stroke of half time.
Although Stephen Quinn pulled one back for Hull with a header on 56 minutes, Hull failed to launch a comeback.
Over the course of the the 90 minutes, the Tigers had just 32% of the possession, took eight shots of which one was on target, and failed to earn a single corner.
Following the defeat, midfielder Huddlestone posted the following message on Twitter.

Steve Bruce’s Hull are now 17th in the Premier League table with 34 points from 35 matches, just a point above Sunderland, who are third from bottom and have a game in hand.
Hull are back in league action on Saturday when they take on fellow relegation candidates Burnley at the KC Stadium.
