Stefan Johansen: I came to Celtic to win trophies

Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen has been one of their main players this season.

Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen says that he joined the club to win trophies, so he has been delighted with their success this season.

Johansen moved to Parkhead at the start of 2014 and says that his decision to join the Scottish giants was driven by a desire to add silverware to his personal medal collection.

The Norwegian midfielder felt he had a great chance of lifting trophies at Celtic and is understandably delighted to have helped his side claim the Scottish Premiership title as well as the League Cup crown this year.

As well as the team's success, Johansen has also been toasting personal accolades this season.

The 24-year-old scooped Scotland's PFA Player of the Year and is honoured to have seen his efforts recognised.

Johansen has really grown into his role at Celtic and his performances this year have been one of the major reasons behind his side's success.

The energetic midfielder has been integral to Celtic's tactical set-up and he will be hoping that he can continue to add silverware to his rapidly growing trophy cabinet again next season.
