According to The Sun, Club Brugge will offer a swap deal in order to land Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton in this summer's transfer window.
Bitton, 23, joined Celtic from FC Ashdod in his native Israel in the summer of 2013, and whilst he made a slow start to life under Ronny Deila this season, Bitton has gradually developed into a key player for the Norwegian manager.
Bitton has now featured in 41 games for Celtic this season, scoring just his second goal of the season with a stunning long-range strike in Friday's 5-0 win over Dundee.
The 6ft 5in midfielder has forged a superb partnership with captain Scott Brown in midfield, but now it seems that his performances have attracted interest.
According to The Sun, Belgian side Club Brugge are lining up a summer bid for Bitton, and are intent on offering a swap deal to the Bhoys in order to land him.
The Belgian club, who already have Bitton's international team-mate Lior Refaelov, are now looking to add Bitton, and will look to sweeten the deal by handing Celtic a player in exchange.
Recent reports from the Daily Record have suggested that Celtic want to sign Club Brugge defender Brandon Mechele to reinforce their centre back options, but it seems unlikely that Deila would allow Bitton to leave in exchange for Mechele.
Whilst Celtic fans may be most concerned about losing defender Virgil van Dijk, now they will have to keep an eye on Bitton's future too.
