Nottingham Forest youngster Dimitar Evtimov is delighted to see former Derby County striker Kevin Wilson appointed the new Nuneaton Town manager.

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Nuneaton Town appointing Kevin Wilson as their new first-team manager.

Warwickshire outfit Town made the announcement on their official website earlier today.

Wilson, who recently took Ilkeston to the Northern Premier Division playoff final, has signed a two-year contract with Boro.

Town will feature in Conference North in the 2015-16 campaign after suffering relegation this season, and former Derby County and Notts County striker Wilson will have his work cut out.

Evtimov, though, believes that Wilson is a good managerial appointment for Boro and claims that it was a mistake from Ilkeston to let the 54-year-old go.

Forest goalkeeper Evtimov has played for both Town and Ilkeston. The Bulgarian played for the former on loan from Forest in 2011 and for the latter - again on loan - in 2013.

Evtimov has been on the books of Championship outfit Forest since 2011, when he joined them from Bulgarian club Chavdar Etropole.
