A selection of the latest stories in the media involving Tottenham Hotspur this Tuesday evening.
Tottenham's players were left to rue the fine form of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart as they reflected on a narrow 1-0 defeat at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
A Sergio Aguero goal settled the contest but Spurs had their fair share of chances to level, or maybe even win the game, and Erik Lamela believes Mauricio Pochettino's side were unfortunate to end the contest with nothing to show for their efforts.
He told the Tottenham website: “We wanted to play good football and we tried to put on a good performance for our fans. We didn’t deserve to lose but we have to put it behind us and look at the games we have left.
“It was one of those days - it’s football and this can happen sometimes.”
Midfielder Paulinho wants the side to concentrate on the games that remain as they look to finish the season on a high, with Champions League qualification still mathematically possible but requiring just about every result to go Spurs' way.
The Brazilian said: “We have three games left and we have to finish the season well."
Lloris has been linked with a move away, reportedly to sides in the Champions League, despite having four years remaining on his contract.
They quote him as saying: "It's difficult to know whether I will stay or not. I'll see. I'll have to talk to the board and we'll find a solution."
