Hull fans react on Twitter after Huddlestone's shocker against Arsenal

The former Tottenham star struggled in the clash against his old side's rivals.

Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone had a night to forget as his side crashed to a defeat to Arsenal on Monday.

Despite the former White Hart Lane favourite enjoying a couple of notable moments against the Gunners in the white of Spurs, he put in a dreadful performances as the Tigers crashed 3-1 to Arsene Wenger's side on Monday night.

He gave away possession in the run up to the first goal, with another Spurs old boy Jake Livermore conceding the free kick that Alexis Sanchez scored from, with the defence under pressure. He also misplaced a pass for Sanchez's second goal, something the England international was doing all evening.

The defeat saw Hull slip down to 17th place in the Premier League on account of losing the goal difference advantage they had over Leicester City.

Afterwards, Hull fans and football supporters across the country took to Twitter to highlight just how poor Huddlestone had been.
