Benteke's 11 goals in his last nine games have fired Villa up the Premier League table, but it is not just his clinical finishing that is so valuable to the team.
N'Zogbia says the Belgian striker's overall performances have inspired his teammates, helping them to have more confidence in their own ability.
“Christian - you can see he is on top of his form. He scores almost every weekend, it is good," N'Zogbia said.
“He is on top form and his confidence is back to how high it was. I am happy for him.
“He gives us also the belief we have a strong man up front and we can work next to him and gives us the confidence to go forward and score goals.”
Benteke has been made the focal point of Villa's attack ever since Tim Sherwood took charge, but he has not been the only one to benefit from the former Tottenham Hotspur boss's arrival.
N'Zogbia, Jack Grealish and Tom Cleverley are just some of the other players that Sherwood has been able to improve during his initial time in charge, with Villa looking much more threatening as a team.
The Claret and Blues are not able to relax yet, though, as they are still in a battle for survival and will be relying on Benteke to continue hitting the back of the net and see them safe.
At the moment Villa are only two points clear of the drop zone and will need to ensure that their performance levels do not dip if they are to preserve their Premier League status.
