Jack Wilshere made his comeback for Arsenal last night, and looked superb in doing so.
The England international was making his first appearance since a 2-1 loss to Manchester United last November, injuring his ankle under a challenge from Paddy McNair.
Wilshere came on as a substitute midway through the second half of Arsenal's 3-1 victory away at Hull City, and showed what he can add to the side.
The midfielder was quick to show his confidence on the ball, dribbling through the Hull midfield on numerous occasions.
His burst of energy put Hull on the back foot, won free-kicks, and created space for his teammates, and perhaps unwisely considering his injury history, he was more than happy to invite tackles.
Wilshere managed 31 touches in 23 minutes, two shots at goal, and created one chance. He completed 90 per cent of his passes, and also made one tackle.
There is serious competition for places in midfield at the club, and it would be a big call for Arsene Wenger to drop the man he replaced, Aaron Ramsey, from the starting line-up in upcoming games considering how well the Welshman played himself too, scoring one of the club's goals against Hull, alongside a Sanchez brace.
Wilshere did however give himself a chance of getting into the team for the FA Cup final, and will have three more Premier League games to state his case, including against Manchester United in a fortnight.
Here is a look at how fans reacted to his impressive cameo...

Why didn't Wilshere come in against Chelsea? I love his spirit! #afc— Michael Greenberg (@Mike7Greenberg) May 4, 2015
A 15 minute substitute cameo after a long injury lay off, but probably Jack Wilshere's best game this season. #AFC— Ross Pearle (@ross_pearle) May 4, 2015
