The Arsenal forward continued a fine season with two goals against the Tigers.
Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over Hull on Monday was again one in which Alexis Sanchez starred.
The Chilean scored two of his side’s three goals and was a constant menace throughout as he has been for most of the season.
The summer signing from Barcelona has enjoyed a stellar first year in England and has been more than value for money with his impressive goal return.
We decided to look at his stats from the game to see just how good he was.
|Match||Goals||Total Scoring Att||Ontarget Scoring Att||Total Contest||Won Contest||Touches||Unsuccessful Touch|
|Alexis Sánchez||Hull City vs Arsenal||2||8||4||7||5||70||0|
First and foremost were his two goals, although his shooting elsewhere could be seen as a bit hit and miss, having had a shooting accuracy of 50%.
Elsewhere though, he was more impressive having won five of his seven dribbling contests, a success rate of 71%. His touches were also at an excellent standard, having enjoyed 70 throughout the game and not one of them proving unsuccessful.
Outside of that, his passing was also to be envied, enjoying a passing success rate of 82%.
So, another top performance from Alexis Sanchez as Arsenal look to finish second. There’s no doubt this star will be a key player in any potential title challenge next season.
