Bamba and N'Goyi look set to return to Leeds United next season.
The duo signed on loan from Palermo in January, and a report in TMW has given an update on their futures.
Bamba has been a roaring success since his arrival at Elland Road, making 18 appearances and netting one goal, being instrumental in the amazing upturn enjoyed by Neil Redfearn’s men in the second half of the campaign.
A towering central defender, the 30-year-old has brought talent and experience to a youthful team, and although recent form has somewhat stalled, many have been calling for his permanent signing ahead of next season.
The report states that the Leeds fans will get their wish, with Bamba set to sign permanently at the end of this campaign for ‘virtually no cost’.
N’Goyi, a midfielder, has endured a less successful time than his Palermo teammate, being struck by a long-term injury during his time in Yorkshire, and making just one appearance for the Whites - he played the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 loss to Norwich.
However, the 26-year-old looks set to also return to Elland Road next season, with the TMW report stating that the club are looking to agree a season-long loan deal with Palermo, with his current contract having a clause for an extra loan year agreed.
That news is less than exciting, as N’Goyi has not had the time to impress due to injuries. However, he has undoubted talent, and if given a full pre-season to come up to scratch, there is no denying that he could start to make an impact upon the first-team squad.
