Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov was not impressed with Gary Neville’s analysis of the goal that Chelsea scored against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Manchester United legend was co-commentating on the Premier League match for Sky Sports.
The contest at Stamford Bridge was settled by an Eden Hazard goal on the stroke of half time.
After earning a penalty, the Belgium international winger himself stepped up to take it. The Chelsea star saw his spot kick saved by Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni, but the 24-year-old headed in the rebound.
Neville claimed that Speroni should have done better with Hazard’s header, but Forest youngster Evtimov did not agree.
The 21-year-old Bulgarian tweeted the following message to the former United defender, making it clear what he thought of his analysis of the goal.
@GNev2 keeper should do better? He just saved a penalty mate— Dimitar Evtimov (@DimiEvtimov) May 3, 2015
Hazard’s goal proved enough for Chelsea to pick up the three points and claim the Premier League title this season.
