The striker and keeper were pleased with their 1-0 win at Upton Park.
West Ham United seemed to condemn Burnley to relegation yesterday, beating The Clarets 1-0 at Upton Park. A solitary goal from Mark Noble, from the penalty spot, did the job as The Hammers moved back into the top half of the Premier League.
It was an uninspiring game, but one which had a couple of West Ham players Tweeting after the fixture.
Carlton Cole, who came on in the 82nd minute for Enner Valencia posted this Tweet and picture alongside team-mate Cheikhou Kouyate. The pair were clearly pleased with the result and didn't hide it in their faces.
Victorious! Enjoy the rest of the day guys! No doubt the Bank holiday shenanigans are about to begin for you guys pic.twitter.com/BeB7N4zyRo— Carlton Cole (@CarltonCole1) May 2, 2015
They were not alone. Serial Tweeter Adrian was also getting in on the act. The Spanish goalkeeper however did have more important things on his mind. The stopper, who has been in great form recently, shared this message - where he revealed he was also set to celebrate his grandfather's 90th birthday. The win was not a bad present.
West Ham are now ninth in the table with three games remaining in the Premier League. They will certainly be aiming to finish in the top ten.
