What does the future hold now for Leeds United loanee Adryan?
Leeds United loanee Adryan has been photographed at Leeds Bradford International Airport on his way back to Brazil.
The picture was posted on Twitter by Leeds supporter @kevincressey and it follows on from Adryan’s own Twitter message that he was heading on holiday following the end of the club’s Championship campaign.
At this stage there is no confirmation regarding the future of the 20-year-old, but given his lack of game-time at Elland Road in recent months most Leeds fans would not be too surprised if they had seen the last of the player in their club colours.
The young Brazilian arrived from Flamengo at the start of the season, and after some time to settle he began to show what he could do in the Leeds first-team.
However, after a run of matches Adryan found himself out of the side and he played just 26 minutes in the last 22 games of the season combined.
In fact as the season drew to a close he hardly ever made Neil Redfearn’s match-day squad and he wasted little time heading back to his homeland once the season was over.
Only time will tell where Adryan will be playing his football next season, but after featuring so rarely in recent times, an extended stay at Leeds seems somewhat unlikely.
