Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Moussa Sissoko’s performance against Leicester City away from home on Saturday.
The 25-year-old midfielder returned from a two-game suspension to start the Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium.
The France international’s return was expected to help Newcastle put an end to their truly terrible losing run, but the former Toulouse star failed to do much of note.
Sissoko started the Premier League match and played for the entire 90 minutes, but his performance left much to be desired.
Although the midfielder had a laudable pass accuracy of 86% and attempted five dribbles, he created only two chances, put in four crosses, failed to win either of his two tackles and won just 17% of the headers he attempted.
Sissoko is one of the best players in the current Newcastle team, but his performances of late have been disappointing.
Following the Magpies’ defeat to Leicester on Saturday, Newcastle fans took to Twitter to criticise the Frenchman.
Below are the best reactions.
