Manchester City made it three wins out of three in the Premier League on Sunday, when they got the better of Tottenham Hotspur away from home.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side headed into the encounter at White Hart Lane in North London on the back of a 3-2 victory over Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.
It was not supposed to be easy for City, but they eventually managed to pick up all three points with a 1-0 win.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, the Citizens had 46% of the possession, took 15 shots of which four were on target, and earned seven corners.
The win against Spurs means that City are now second in the Premier League table with 70 points from 35 matches, 13 points behind Chelsea, who were crowned champions following a 1-0 home victory over Crystal Palace.
Following the victory, City stars Aguero, Vincent Kompany and Silva took to social networking site Twitter to revel in the success.
