The German international left the club in February.
Chelsea have won the Premier League after a solitary strike from Eden Hazard saw them beat Crystal Palace 1-0. The Belgian reacted fastest to his penalty being saved by Julian Speroni to score the goal that sees Chelsea champions.
Of course, the players are fairly happy with the result.
It is not just current players however who are getting in on the action, former winger Andre Schurrle is also pleased with the title triumph.
His time at Chelsea turned sour. After an excellent summer, in which he won the World Cup with Germany, he struggled for first-team football under Jose Mourinho.
He was eventually sold to Wolfsburg for a fee of £22 million, according to the BBC.
The German is however very pleased to see his former team-mates win the league, which he contributed to with 14 appearances and three goals, including one against the team they have replaced as champions Manchester City.
Now he is at Wolfsburg, who are currently fighting with Borussia Monchengladbach for second place in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich.
But at least he will have a Premier League winners medal to hand around his neck.
